The visit of TimeRide Dresden takes about 45 minutes. First you will get a personal introduction and watch a film. Afterwards you will go on the actual time travel. You get into an old carriage and put on large VR glasses. You drive with the virtual reality glasses in a carriage through Dresden. You enter the inner courtyard of the Zwinger. One of the biggest weddings in history is taking place there. The son of the Prince of Saxony Friedrich August II married Maria Josepha of Austria, the Emperor’s daughter.
The show Timeride is incredibly realistic. You can look in every direction, you feel like you are in the middle of baroque Dresden or in the middle of the wedding. You can see and hear an incredible amount of details. An absolutely successful high-tech experience, which would not have been technically possible a few years ago. You can switch the VR to English or other languages.

Even the carriage in which you actually sit moves with you and much more. For us, the time travel with TimeRide was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Dresden. A trip through Dresden 300 years ago that seemed absolutely realistic. We can absolutely recommend Time Ride.
